Hemlock Cabins
Posted On: 2009-01-30
In Nova Scotia only we are offering to build on your site the sturdy and inexpensive and very popular 18 by 24 hemlock cabin with upper loft and overhang deck. These range from $12,000 and up and included in our price is the roof shingles, all the lumber materials and our labour to construct the cabin, which takes about one week. Not included is the foundation, windows, doors and interior finish. We will install windows and doors and do other finishes at additional cost at your request.
We have discovered everybody shares the dream of having their special retreat whether it is a cottage at the sea, a cabin on a lake, a home in the woods or a hunting camp in the middle of nowhere. Last summer we made those dreams come true for several Nova Scotians. Is this your summer?
Book early as the roads close to the logging trucks for six weeks in early spring which will cause delays.

Coming Soon Craftsman style buildings
Posted On: 2008-01-15
For those of you we had to put on hold, thanks for your patience. We sold our property, relocated a few miles down the road and Michel is building, by himself, our timberframe style home and workshop. He bought a portable sawmill and is having fun sawing logs. He even plans on building a solar kiln so he can dry his own lumber.
Coming soon, we'll be offering post and beam style buildings, either in a kit form you can order and have assembled yourself, or within driving distance, we'll assemble on site. Imagine being able to hire one contractor who does it all, from the concrete work to the stairs and finish trim, all in the true craftman's style with patience, eye for detail and skilled hands.
